What is PANIC!?
PANIC! is a compact survival game built around fast choices rather than complicated controls. Your chicken runs up a five-lane yard while hedges, geese, puddles, hay bales and wheelbarrows rush towards it. A horizontal swipe changes exactly one lane. A tap jumps, and a second tap while airborne triggers an emergency double jump.
Every run begins gently enough to read the yard. Then the pace climbs. Clean single jumps increase the risk level and make corn more valuable. Double jumps can rescue a bad decision, but they stop scoring while the chicken is airborne and push the speed higher. Survive long enough and the hawk begins a PANIC burst of its own.

Choose your jump
Hay bales and puddles need one tap. Hedges, geese and wheelbarrows demand a lane change or a double jump.
Chase the corn
Corn adds to your final score, but the tempting route is not always the safe one. Riskier play raises its value.
Outrun the hawk
PANIC bursts arrive after the run is established. Keep making clean decisions until the attack passes.

There is no account, energy meter or upgrade tree. PANIC! records the best score in local browser storage and gets out of the way. Choose a starting speed, play a run, learn where it went wrong and try again.
The web and mobile editions share the same rules, obstacle generation and scoring. The interface adapts to touch, mouse and keyboard: use swipes or the arrow keys to move, then tap, Space or the Up arrow to jump.
